Nine columns of two sheets of 400 mark stamps were used, one front, one back, plus eleven 300 marks. Faulty, but impressive. Group of six original, private photos taken of Adolf Hitler with Hungarian head of state Miklós von Horthy and wife at the launch / Stapellauf of the Kriegsmarine Admiral Hipper-class heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen, 22 August 1938. The photos are in excellent condition and well executed -- all are sharp, in focus, and a loupe can be used to see additional detail. Quite probably a unique group, historically significant... for those who care. Otherwise it's just a group of photos of yet another megalomaniac et al. |
